Profile:

Saeedeh has knowledge and expertise in electrochemistry, microfabrication, and materials science through more than 10 years of research experience in several different cleanrooms and wet-labs. During her work in Dr. Madden’s lab, she developed an easily reproducible fabrication process for fast conducting polymer actuators and also developed a promising process to encapsulate these wet electro-chemical devices. Moreover, she further developed an analytical electro-chemo-mechanical model for these actuators to predict their high frequency performance and created a web-based graphical user interface tool to facilitate their modeling and design optimization for different applications. Working as a postdoc in Dr. Madden’s lab, she demonstrated the potential of use of trilayer conducting polymer actuators in tactile feedback interfaces, electrochromics and supercapacitors. Saeedeh also has the experience of working on metal oxide electrochromic windows through working as a research engineer in Miru Smart Technologies.

Before joining Dr.Madden’s lab, she was working on flexible zinc oxide thin film transistors, through which she gained experience in microfabrication techniques and relevant characterization methods.
